1. Music Improves Academic Skills.  From call and response songs which deal with short term and working memory, to physics – in hands on understanding of harmonics and vibration.  It is a fun and profound way to work out the brain.
  2. Music Develops Physical Skills.  Large and fine motor skills are developed in playing every instrument.  There is nothing like playing a musical instrument to enhance coordination as kids are holding and playing or playing with both hands.
  3. Music Cultivates Social Skills.  Playing music requires peer interaction, communication, collaboration, and intense listening.  All amazing and essential social skills to practice for life
  4.  Music lessons refine discipline and patience.  Talk about delayed gratification!  All instruments have a learning curve and sticking with it over the long run is where the sweetness is found.
