Are you wondering which instrument is right for your young musician.

The best place to start is – which instrument are THEY excited about learning.  Is it a bold brass horn, a silvery flute, a reedy clarinet or saxophone?

Does a certain instrument seem to match their temperament?

Is there an instrument you will not mind listening to as your child gains proficiency.  (which will happen faster with private lessons).

All good things to think about as you are making this choice/investment.  Get the most out of both by starting off with lessons – your student will sound better faster, learn how to care for their instrument and you will like listening.
